Accessibility audit and contrast map
Run an axe-core 4.10 WCAG 2.2 AA audit on any page with Pickode, see failing nodes highlighted and fix low contrast with the nearest passing color.
Updated October 20, 2026
The Accessibility panel runs an automated WCAG 2.2 AA audit on the page you’re viewing, and the contrast map checks every text on it. Use them as a fast first pass before a manual review.
Run the audit
-
Open the page you want to check in your browser.
-
In Pickode’s Analyze section, open Accessibility for the axe-core audit.
-
Go through the failing rules: each failing node is highlighted on the page, so you see where the problem is, not only its selector.
-
With Pro, read the details and suggestions and add them to a client report with priorities.
What the audit checks
| Engine | axe-core 4.10 |
| Rules | WCAG 2.2 AA plus best practices |
| On the page | Failing nodes highlighted |
| Language | Rule titles in English or Italian; detail messages in English |
Contrast map
The contrast map checks every text on the page at once:
- each text against its effective background, with transparencies composited;
- AA and AAA thresholds, for normal and large text;
- a mark on the page next to every text that fails;
- the nearest color that passes, so the design changes as little as possible.
Open it from the Analyze section, then use the suggested colors to fix your CSS or your builder’s color settings.
