Library and Google Drive sync
Save components, design tokens, palettes and Lottie animations to the Pickode library and sync them through your own Google Drive, with no Pickode server.
Updated October 20, 2026
The library keeps the components, design tokens, palettes and Lottie animations you find while browsing, so you can reuse them later. It lives in your browser, and with Pro you can sync it through your own Google Drive.
Save and find items
-
While you work in Pickode, save a component, a set of design tokens, a palette or a Lottie animation to your library.
-
Open the library to search, rename and preview what you saved.
-
Export the library as JSON to keep a backup or move it to another browser, and import it there.
Sync with Google Drive (Pro)
-
In Pickode, connect Google Drive and sign in with your Google account. Sign-in happens from your browser.
-
Pickode creates a visible folder named Pickode in your Drive and stores one JSON file per item.
-
From then on, the library syncs automatically after every change, in every browser where you connect the same Drive.
-
To stop, disconnect: Pickode’s access is revoked and your files stay in your Drive.
How sync works
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Where files go | One JSON file per item in a visible “Pickode” folder in your own Google Drive |
| Permission | Google’s drive.file scope only: Pickode sees only the files it creates |
| Server | None: data goes straight from your browser to your Drive, no Pickode account needed |
| Conflicts | Items are merged by modification date |
| Deletions | Propagated to the other browsers |
| Disconnect | Revokes access and leaves your files in place |
Pickode can’t read the rest of your Drive. The token stays in your browser, and the identity permission is used only if you connect Drive. More in Privacy.
