Export to Elementor
Turn any website section into an Elementor template with native containers and widgets, styles in Elementor's controls and tablet/mobile breakpoints.
Updated October 20, 2026
The Elementor export turns a section of any site into an Elementor template made of native containers and widgets — Heading, Text Editor, Image, Button — with the styles set in Elementor’s own controls. You import it and edit it like something you built yourself, not as one locked HTML block. It works with free Elementor.
How to export a section to Elementor
-
Open the inspector with Alt+I on any page and click the section you want to rebuild.
-
Choose Elementor in the export window and download the template file (JSON).
-
In WordPress, import the template into Elementor’s template library.
-
Insert the template into your page. Every container and widget is editable in the Navigator.
What you get
| Part | Details |
|---|---|
| Containers | Flexbox and Grid containers |
| Widgets | Heading, Text Editor, Image, Button, HTML |
| Styles | Typography, colors, spacing, backgrounds (color, image, two-color gradient), borders, radius, shadows, hover |
| Breakpoints | Tablet (≤1024 px) and mobile (≤767 px) values in Elementor’s native controls |
| Leftover CSS | Anything without a native control goes into one Pickode · styles widget, with selectors on Elementor’s markup |
| Verified | 92 setting keys checked against Elementor’s source |
Most of the section’s styling lands in the panels you already use, so you change a color or a margin the usual way. Only what Elementor has no control for ends up in the Pickode · styles widget.
Typography
The text’s font-family is not copied, so the section follows your site’s typography. If you want the source font, turn on Keep the original site font before exporting.
